The legacy video uploads page in Studio has been replaced with a new
view in the Authoring MFE. The legacy page has not been available for
some time, so it's all dead code. This PR removes it.
Please note that there's a waffle flag which enables the MFE version
of the video uploads page: `contentstore.new_studio_mfe.use_new_video_uploads_page`.
Unlike the other Studio MFE waffles, we're NOT going to remove this one now,
because the video uploads page has always been broken for sites other
than edx.org (or sites that have reverse-engineered their video pipeline) so
we'd like to keep the flag until it's either fixed for the community or
removed (https://github.com/openedx/openedx-platform/issues/37972).

Adding transcripts to Videos now goes through the new VideoConfigService
instead of direct calls from the VideoBlock. However, the VideoConfigService
was not added to Studio. This patch fixes transcript uploading by adding
the service to Studio.
For legacy library_content references in courses, this PR:
- **Removes the spurious sync after updating a reference to a migrated
library**, so that users don't need to "update" their content _after_
updating their reference, _unless_ there were real content edits that
happened since they last synced. We do this by correctly associating a
DraftChangeLogRecord with the ModulestoreBlockSource migration artifact,
and then comparing that version information before offering a sync.
(related issue:
https://github.com/openedx/frontend-app-authoring/issues/2626).
- **Prompts users to update a reference to a migrated library with higher
priority than prompting them to sync legacy content updates for that
reference**, so that users don't end up needing to accept legacy content
updates in order to get a to a point where they can update to V2 content.
- **Ensures the library references in courses always follow the correct
migration,** as defined by the data `forwarded` fields in the data model,
which are populated based on the REST API spec and the stated product UI
requirements.
* For the migration itself, this PR:
- **Allows non-admins to migrate libraries**, fixing:
https://github.com/openedx/edx-platform/issues/37774
- **When triggered via the UI, ensures the migration uses nice title-based
target slugs instead of ugly source-hash-based slugs.** We've had this as an
option for a long time, but preserve_url_slugs defaulted to True instead of
False in the REST API serializer, so we weren't taking advantage of it.
- **Unifies logic between single-source and bulk migration**. These were
implement as two separate code paths, with drift in their implementations. In
particular, the collection update-vs-create-new logic was completely
different for single-souce vs. bulk.
- **When using the Skip or Update strategies for repeats, it consistently
follows mappings established by the latest successful migration** rather than
following mappings across arbitrary previous migrations.
- **We log unexpected exceptions more often**, although there is so much more
room for improvement here.
- **Adds more validation to the REST API** so that client mistakes more often
become 400s with validation messages rather than 500s.
For developers, this PR:
- Adds unit tests to the REST API
- Ensures that all migration business logic now goes through a general-purpose
Python API.
- Ensures that the data model (specifically `forwarded`, and
`change_log_record`) is now populated and respected.
- Adds more type annotations.
This change drops the legacy studio custom pages UI aka. the tab edit
page.

Remove the legacy studio updates page and its related artifacts. They
have been replaced by API and a new UI in the authoring MFE.
This cleanup is a part of https://github.com/openedx/edx-platform/issues/36108
BREAKING CHANGE: The 'legacy_studio.updates' waffle flag will no longer
be respected. The system will behave as if the flag is set to false
permanently.
The legacy textbooks page has been replaced with an authoring MFE
equivalent. We don't need to keep the old one around.

BREAKING CHANGE: With this change the `legacy_studio.textbooks` waffle
flag will no longer be respected and the system will behave as if the
flag is always set to False.
As part of the ongoing effort to deprecate and eventually remove xmodule,
we’ve started gradually migrating the necessary code files from xmodule
to more appropriate locations within the codebase.

The assets page and related tests and settings flags will be removed.
They have been replaced with a new implementation in the
frontend-app-authoring MFE.
BREAKING CHANGE: The legacy_studio.files_uploads flag has been removed
and will no longer allow operators to fall back to the legacy files and
uploads view. The new MFE version is now the only available veiew.
This page has been replaced with an equivalent page in the authoring MFE
which has been on by default since Teak. This change removes the
ability to fallback to the old page using waffle flags.
BREAKING CHANGE: The `legacy_studio.course_outline` waffle flag will be removed
and the code will behave as if it's always set to `False`. Preventing
you from falling back to the old Course Outline page.
This is the page that lists the courses in studio. This has been
replaced by an MFE and the MFE has been on by default since Teak.
BREAKING CHANGE: Setting the `legacy_studio.home` waffle flag will no longer
work. The code will behave as if this is set to false showing the new
studio authoring MFE experience for the course home page.
This has been the default since Teak.
* refactor!: use String field instead of Dict field to store top_level_downstream_parent_key
Since this is a new field no production instance should have this field
yet. Developers need to delete their old courses as this change will
raise error in all course pages.
* chore: add `top_level_parent` field in ComponentLink and ContainerLink admin
* refactor: use ":" as separator
* refactor: block key parsing and tests
- Adds `blockType` and `is_modified` to the `showXBlockLibraryChangesPreview` iframe message.
- Add title to the `xblock_iframe`
- Add `is-modified` to `studio_xblock_wrapper`
- Add `disable_staff_debug_info` as a query param in `render_xblock`
- `downstream_is_modified` added to ComponentLink and ContainerLink
Adds migration info like `migrated_to_title`, `migrated_to_key` and `is_migrated` fields indicating whether the legacy library was migrated to library v2. If yes, it includes the new library name and key.
Users can also filter by migration status using `is_migrated` query param.
- Adds the `unlinkable` action to the XBlock object sent to the frontend
- Updates the `top_level_parent_key` reference when unlinking containers. If you unlink a Section with Subsections and Units, this updates the `top_level_parent_key` for the Subsections to `None` (they are the top level now), and the `top_level_parent_key` for the Units to the corresponding parent Subsection.
- Adds the `top_level_parent_usage_key` to the `EntityLinkBase`
- This field is used to save the top-level parent of a component or container when it is imported into a course. Example: A unit with components imported into a course. The unit is the top-level parent of the components.
- Updates the `DownstreamListView` to return the top-level parents instead of downstream child, if this parent exists.
- Each time containers with children were synchronized, a new downstream block was created for each child instead of updating the existing one. This occurred because the `upstream_key` was incorrectly validated as an `Opaquekey` against a list of key strings. This was fixed by converting the `upstream_key` to a string before the verification. (see 34cd5a4781 and 29647831dc)
- Which edX user roles will this change impact? "Course Author", "Developer".
There are two different views and entry points for components and containers, which have the same logic and filters. In this PR, a single view has been created that allows you to get all links or filter them by component or container.
* Rename `DownstreamComponentsListView` and mark it as deprecated.
* Mark `DownstreamContainerListView` as deprecated.
* Update `DownstreamSummaryView` to support container on the summary.
* Add `show` param in `get_course_outline_url`
* feat: store content.child_usage_keys in Container search document
Stores the draft children + published children (if applicable)

Refactors downstream links API to handle multiple filters using a single API. Also adds a new route to return summary of library links for a given course.
* feat: update preview url to direct to mfe
* fix: use url builder instead of string formatter
* fix: url redirect for never published units
* fix: remove 404 error when not a preview or staff
* feat: update sequence metadata to allow draft branch
* refactor: rename CourseHomeSerializer to StudioHomeSerializer

* feat: adds waffle flags for legacy libraries v1 and new libraries v2 in new Studio Home
These waffle flags replace the MFE env flag LIBRARY_MODE.
* refactor: use contentstore.toggles.libraries_v1_enabled()
and ENABLE_CONTENT_LIBRARIES feature toggle where possible.
ENABLE_CONTENT_LIBRARIES has been incorporated into both the
libraries_v1_enabled() and libraries_v2_enabled() toggles:
FEATURES['ENABLE_CONTENT_LIBRARIES'] must be true for either version of
libraries to be "enabled".
The V2 libraries project had a few past iterations which were never
launched. This commit cleans up pieces from those which we don't need
for the real Libraries Relaunch MVP in Sumac:
* Remove ENABLE_LIBRARY_AUTHORING_MICROFRONTEND,
LIBRARY_AUTHORING_FRONTEND_URL, and
REDIRECT_TO_LIBRARY_AUTHORING_MICROFRONTEND, all of which are obsolete
now that library authoring has been merged into
https://github.com/openedx/frontend-app-authoring.
More details on the new Content Libraries configuration settings are
here: https://github.com/openedx/frontend-app-authoring/issues/1334
* Remove dangling support for syncing V2 (learning core-backed) library
content using the LibraryContentBlock. This code was all based on an
older understanding of V2 Content Libraries, where the libraries were
smaller and versioned as a whole rather then versioned by-item.
Reference to V2 libraries will be done on a per-block basis using
the upstream/downstream system, described here:
https://github.com/openedx/edx-platform/blob/master/docs/decisions/0020-upstream-downstream.rst
It's important that we remove this support now so that OLX course
authors don't stuble upon it and use it, which would be buggy and
complicate future migrations.
* Remove the "mode" parameter from LibraryContentBlock. The only
supported mode was and is "random". We will not be adding any further
modes. Going forward for V2, we will have an ItemBank block for
randomizing items (regardless of source), which can be synthesized
with upstream referenced as described above. Existing
LibraryContentBlocks will be migrated.
* Finally, some renamings:
* LibraryContentBlock -> LegacyLibraryContentBlock
* LibraryToolsService -> LegacyLibraryToolsService
* LibrarySummary -> LegacyLibrarySummary
Module names and the old OLX tag (library_content) are unchanged.
